NEWS RELEASE

A local garden design, landscaping and maintenance company, based near Edge Hill, Banbury have been awarded Silver Gilt at this years’ Blenheim Palace Flower Show. The big Allotment Challenges’ Jim Buttess judged the entries this year.

Pro Gardens’ directors Alan and Jacqueline Franklin head up this talented team, with In house garden designer Jamie Langlands creating the show garden along with a fantastic production team, they all worked tirelessly for a four day build-up ready for the event last Friday.

The event excitement really kicked off for Pro Gardens Ltd when TV’s Good Morning Britain broadcast the weather from the Pro Gardens Show Garden on Friday morning. The Narnia inspired doors certainly enticed people in and with the lily bowl steaming with mist in the centre it really captured the imagination of visitors to the show; “They opened a door and entered a world” said In-house designer Jamie Langlands.

Celebrities Mary Berry, Sunday TV gardener, David Demoney were among many who admired Pro Gardens Narnia inspired Garden and Radio and BBC Oxford recorded shows live from the Show Garden.

Jacqueline Franklin, Director of Pro Gardens Ltd said “I am absolutely bowled over by the lovely response from the public to our first Show Garden. To see people queuing to get in and see what was behind the wardrobe door was just amazing, I am so proud of Jamie and all team at Pro Gardens and to receive a Silver Gilt was wonderful, the icing on the cake”.
