Maintenance Packages

We offer the following packages or contact us for something more bespoke.

PACKAGE 1 – Seasonal tidy up

Seasonal visits or just the one. Work may include; Border digging , Spring prune to roses and wisterias, shrub/hedge pruning, cutting down herbaceous, leaf clearance and or formative Winter pruning.

PACKAGE 2 – Jan to Feb Spring/Winter Digging & Mulching;

Border tidy up in preparation for the Spring which may or may not be covered in a layer of mulch. We can supply our own compost or buy in composted green waste. Rates vary accordingly with size of garden.

PACKAGE 3 – Year Round Maintenance on its own, + Lawncare.

Our schedule of routine maintenance tasks throughout the year can include;

January
Complete leaf clearance from beds and borders.
Finishing cutting down perennials.
Composted material to be spread through borders once leaves are cleared.
Treatment of Moss on driveways and paths as weather allows.
Fruit tree pruning work.

February
Winter digging border preparation work.
Formative spring shrub pruning Inc. summer flowering Clematis, Weigela, Philadelphus & Wisteria.
Painting & treating furniture as the weather improves.
Ist application of Glyphosate to tackle emerging annual seedlings
Prune roses and tie onto wire framework

 

March
Complete Winter servicing of machinery for restart of season as weather conditions permits
Lawn feed application
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy.

April
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy

May
Supply Summer flowering hanging baskets and bedding plants for Summer displays.
2nd Application of Glyphosate to tackle emerging annual seedlings.
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy

June
2nd Lawn feed application
Selective broadleaf weed killer application
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy.
Regular dead heading to encourage a repeat flowering.

July

August
Formative Summer shrub pruning Inc. Cotoneaster, Laurel, Box & Wisteria trimming back.
3rd application of Glyphosate to tackle emerging annual seedlings
Regular dead heading to encourage a repeat flowering.
Yew hedge trimming.
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy

September
Coniferous hedge trimming.
3rd Lawn feed application
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy

October
4th application of Glyphosate to tackle emerging annual seedlings
Lawn moss killer application.
Hard surfaces to be swept clean on each occasion leaving garden clean and tidy
Pond clearance work.

November
Supply Winter flowering bedding plants for planting schemes.
Planting of new bareroot hedging plants as leaves start to fall.
Take orders for the supply & planting out of Spring flowering bulbs.
Leaf clearance underway mainly from driveway and lawn areas.
Lawncare scarification work subject to weather conditions

December
Leaf clearance underway mainly from driveway and lawn areas.
Make up and deliver Christmas trees and Door wreaths.
Beech hedge trimming and reduction pruning.
Snow clearance from driveway and pedestrian walkways.

In addition we offer annual lawn feed/weed treatments with or without mosskilling.

All work is subject to an initial site inspection whereby soil analysis and compaction tests are completed together with plant/disease identification. Whereby we can identify problems and advise solutions.

PACKAGE 4 – Autumn to Spring Leaf Clearance

We offer a range of leaf clearance packages to suit your budget. To keep your garden looking leaf free throughout the Autumn. Whether its weekly, fortnightly or monthly during November. December and January, visits arranged to suit. Discounted rates for regular visits throughout the Winter.
