We created a distinct water feature using driftwood with two steel pools.
Mr and Mrs E – Northamptonshire
A contemporary design created by Pro Gardens Ltd. Our client commissioned a re-design of an existing water feature. We created two pools that cascade down, eventually merging and falling into each other using natural driftwood to clad each pool.
The design features two steel pools, fabricated by a local Hornton blacksmith. Natural driftwood clads the pools with aquatic plants that billow out of both pools. This leading-edge combination has an extremely distinct look, hardwearing and improves with age as the planting matures.
Completing the design, water lilies line each pool, with large pieces of slate and stones carefully placed around base. Finishing touches of Farrow and Ball’s ‘pavilion gray’ coat the cladded wood.
The work commenced in January 2015 and took two weeks to complete.

Outdoor Entertainment Space
We created a tranquil outdoor entertainment space with shade sail and built in brick barbeque
Mr and Mrs K – Willoughby
A classic design with a contemporary twist created by Pro-Gardens Ltd.
Our client commissioned a re-design of an existing patio area, the brief was to create an outside entertainment and hosting area. To include a bespoke pergola, built in brick barbeque and a shaded area.
The design features a bespoke pergola spanning the brick patio, supported by reclaimed brick piers with matching timber balustrades between. All timber supplied by our local timber merchants. Attached to the pergola is a shade sail ensuring that the space can be enjoyed by all even on the hottest of days.
A Built-in brick BBQ gives the spaces some practical use and the slate shelf behind holds potted herbs for all your culinary needs.
Aged stepping stones meander through an existing border leading to a secondary entrance to the space.
The scheme took 2 weeks to complete.
“Just to say how pleased we are with the Patio and Barbeque Area – its looking fantastic, from all directions and really changes the feel of the garden. It also looked amazing with the light coming through the sail during the brief spells of sunshine yesterday.
Thank-you once again so much for all your teams hard work – they’ve done a fabulous job”.
